Optimum Advantage

Tennis Canada x Shoppers Drug Mart Campaign

Insight: The Rogers Cup men's and women's tournaments are not equal in awarded pay or in points.

Canadian tennis star Bianca Andreescu earned $521,530 US for winning the Roger’s Cup women’s tournament back in 2019, while Rafael Nadal got paid $1.049 million for winning the concurrent men's event held in Montreal.

Idea: Female shoppers will earn twice the amount of points as men on their Optimum card earning them an Optimum Advantage.
Shoppers Drug Mart will pay the female winner of the Rogers Cup the difference in what the male winner earns.
